India shining but not for all

Few years back, I had participated in the Annual Photography competition of the Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. The photo featured here was selected as a winning entry for the competition. This photo was taken from Worli Fort, Mumbai. The photo depicts the Mumbai high rises in a background of the Worli village. If you look at the picture closely, it shows the disparity between rich and poor class in Mumbai. You’ll find such views across major cities of India. Therefore I had named this photo – India Shining But Not For All.

  6. Interesting take on the India shining .. I see that as time is passing Rich are becoming richer and poor are becoming poor!! So clearly the disparity is increasing !!
