Shiroda beach

The Shiroda beach is one of the best beaches in Konkan region of Maharashtra. This beach is a part of Shiroda village which is located at Vengurla taluka of Sindhudurg district. It’s a pristine beach with a long stretch of white sand, coconut and casuarina trees. The beach is locally known as Shiroda Velagar Beach.

Once you reach the beach, it makes you feel relaxed with its cool breeze and dazzling water. The soft sand on the beach makes you feel the nature while taking a barefoot walk early morning or evening time. And the sunset view here is mesmerizing which brings smile on your face as you get the feeling of reaching your destination.

For quick snacks, there are small food stalls located near the entrance of the beach. You can munch on local food such as vada pav and misal pav. There are also some sweetcorn and coconut water stalls as well. If you want to taste local malvani food, you have to visit the Shiroda market which is just 15 minutes distance from the beach. In the market, look out for Meghdhoot Hotel. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian malvani food. Enjoy the taste of the malvani food here.

If you want to spend some peaceful time with your family on a less crowded beach then straight away plan your trip for Shiroda beach. The best time to visit Shiroda beach is during summer and winter season.
