Diwali fireworks light up the sky

Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers

The fireworks lighting up the sky is always a visual treat to watch during the Diwali festival. The artificial  illumination done by the firecrackers in the sky looks beautiful. You have to be alert while watching the fireworks in the sky as the firecrackers last for hardly 4-5 seconds.

Yesterday, I attempted to capture some fireworks display in the sky. Initially, I could just capture end portion of the  bursting cracker in the sky as the bursting happens very fast. It was just the Click-Click-Click method which made the trick. I could manage to click some beautiful photos.

You have to go on clicking as soon as the cracker starts moving toward the sky. The best photo gets captured in one of your frames. If you go for the timing for bursting method then there are chances of losing the right moment. The timing method works if the firecracker is of the same type.

I don’t know which is the right method to capture the fireworks at sky. Have you attempted to capture such fireworks? Do you know if there is any other method for capturing fireworks at sky? Please share the method and your experience.

Here are some beautiful photos captured by me.

  6. Nice photographs. These days cameras have feature to take a burst of shots ten shots or more with one click. Another old fashioned way is to adjust camera aperture and exposure by holding the camera steady on a tripod. Nevertheless, your shots are good.
