It was yet another day of colourful Holi celebration in our housing society, Sarvoday Pooja. This year, very few society members turned up for the celebration. However, the kids/baccha gang were at their best and unstoppable. They were running after each other carrying plastic bags filled with colourful water. The baccha gang had members right from 2 years old to 15 years old.
With the music playing in the background, kids were enjoying their time by smearing colours on each other and sometimes throwing water filled plastic bags on each other. As every year, this year too, the garden water pipe was used to create the rain dance feeling in the society premise. The Mahila mandal (ladies group) also participated in equal enthusiasm. And the gents group made the required arrangements and participated in the celebration too.
The celebration lasted for almost two hours which ended with the vada pav party for kids, although we too enjoyed the vada pav 🙂 Such festivals brings people together, create new bondings, gives you the time to be with your family and enjoy the festive moments
It was nice to meet everyone during the celebration and capture some
beautiful holi moments. Here are some photos captured by me.
